What it costs to bring someone home

Three packages, starting at £2,095. Whatever we quote you on the first call is put in writing, and nothing is added to it later without you agreeing first.

All three cover the same ground: the documents both countries ask for, a coffin that meets the rules for international transport, the journey itself, and one person you can reach while it is happening. What changes between them is how much we take off your hands, and how fast it moves.

  • Answered at any hour, every day of the year
  • Priced in writing before anything is booked
  • From anywhere in the UK, to Romania and across the EU

Three packages, and the honest difference between them

Each tier contains the one below it, so the lists here only show what is added. If you are not sure which one your situation calls for, say so on the phone and we will tell you, including when the cheapest one is the right answer.

Why every price on this page starts with the word from

Because three things move the final figure, and none of them are known until we hear the details. We work them out on the first call and tell you the number then.

Where they are going

The distance, and whether the journey runs by air or by road. A flight to Bucharest and a road transfer to a village in Suceava do not cost the same.

Which documents the two countries want

Some destinations need translation and legalisation, some need consular paperwork, and some need very little. This is usually the biggest difference between one case and the next.

The circumstances of the death

A coroner's involvement, a post-mortem, or a death away from home adds steps, and sometimes cost. We will say so as soon as we know.

You will never be asked to decide anything before you have the full figure in front of you, and there is no charge for asking what it would be.

Tell us where they are, and where they need to go

That is enough for us to tell you which package covers it and what it will cost. Two minutes on the form, or one call. If it is urgent, phone us instead, the line is answered day and night.
